Analysis Archaeologica

The main focus of the newly established journal Analysis Archaeologica lies in various problems related to the Western Mediterranean with its complex aspects and its numerous protagonists: Greeks, Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Etruscans and indigenous ethnic groups. Special attention will be paid to cultural contacts and the transfer of culture between Orient and Occident and between different areas of the Western Mediterranean. Another key aspect of the journal is research regarding the Romanization of the Western Mediterranean and, more generally, the Roman phase up through Late Antiquity.
